Palma de Mallorca
Palma de Mallorca, or just Palma short, is a typically small Spanish town, despite its barely 360 000 inhabitants, Palma offers such things often reserved for bigger cities - good shopping, quantity of hip bars and coffee shops, late nightclubs, a beating life and loads of good restaurants.
Add the magnificent cathedral, the position by the sea and some gorgeous alleys and you will understand that the capital of Mallorca is essentially different from the islands other quite dreary tourist neighborhoods.
As the speed of tight-fitting, design hotels and bars has risen to the sky, the hip factor has also gone up. The town today often compares with a mini-format of Barcelona. Although Palma is a little cleaner, a little nicer and a little more grownup. A town to enjoy in spring, summer, autumn or winter.
